The Super Neo is a backcountry specific, carbon version of the Neo.  It uses the same rocker, camber, side cut profile, but is built with carbon to lighten it up.   We have also added a string of Kevlar along the inside of each edge.  This ski is for those who want to drop that 100 grams, sacrificing a little bit of dampness for a lighter, more versatile ski in the powder.  This is your all-round backcountry B.C. stick for shredding the North Shore of Whistler and Pemberton.

COAST MOUNTAIN CORE

Foon skis are built from a locally sourced Coast Mountain yellow cedar and western big leaf maple. The yellow cedar is a unique wood only found in the pacific coast where it is strongest in high elevations of the western Coast Mountains. The combination of a lightweight cedar with the durability of big leaf maple creates a unique core construction that is exclusive to Foon.

SUPER SAP EPOXY

Green chemistry that requires less energy and produces less harmful by products, reducing green house gas emissions from production of epoxy resin by 33% from conventional petroleum-based epoxies.

FACTORY TUNE

The process is finessed with a full factory tune from a Montana diamond base grind and structure building. An eco-wax is built into the base and a hand tune sets both the base and side edge that is adjusted to each ski model.
