Chris Ankeny “No” Boarding at Miller. What the heck is “No” Boarding you ask? Snowboarding with no bindings and it’s as close to surfing as we can get in Pemberton

Winter Tyfoons are finally starting to stack up and give us some deep pow to play in. TS2 ( Tuesday Shred Society ) is back in operation, this week it was balls deep at Miller beach. It’s been a tough year so far with some deep instabilities hanging around in the snowpack. Right now the coastal snowpack is SHITTY. The forests are filling in and this is the place to shred right now. If your thinking about hitting something big after the resent pow cycle…DON’T. Last week there was a class 3 slide in the Duffy zone and we lost another brother to the mountains, shred in peace D Mac you will be missed. Just a couple days later a successful rescue pulled a couple skiers from a big slide they triggered in the “Cambodian Chutes” at Steep Creek. Shit like this is just bad decision making, the key to backcountry riding right now is PATIENCE.
